Abhijeet Bhattacharya
Abhijeet Bhattachaya a.k.a Abhijeet was born in Kanpur city of Uttar Pradesh. He was born in a Bengali family. His father was a businessman who turned into an editor Mr.Dhirendranath Bhattacharya.
Dhirendranath Bhattacharya had four sons out of which ABhijeet was the youngest.
He got married to a beautiful fashion designer Sumati Bhattacharya and has two sons namely Jay Bhattacharya and Dhruv Bhattacharya.
Career
He was willing to become a Chartered Accountant after completing his graduation in B.com in Christ Church College, Kanpur and to do the Chartered Accountant course he moved to Mumbai in 1981.
But he did not had any interest in finance career he was intended to make her career as a playback singer.
In those struggling days, he even did some small clerical jobs just to manage his expense and to make his survival in Mumbai.
One fine day he received a call from Rahul Dev Burman to sing in a film called ‘’Anand and Anand’’ which marked his debut film.
Interestingly this film also had Bollywood superstar Dev Anand and he had sung this song along with Asha Bhosale, Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar.
Although the film was a big hit Abhijeet did not make any mark in the Bollywood.
And later he struggled for 6 years straight. After so much of struggling and searching for work he got his Bollywood break from Salman Khan starring film Baghi which was composed by legendary composers Anand Milind.
After releasing of this movie and song he became people’s favourite and started receiving offers and opportunities from the music directors along with Kumar Sanu and Udit Narayan.

During 1990s when people were enjoying music and voices of two of the diamonds of Bollywood melodies Kumar Sanu and Udit Narayan people also started liking the voice of Abhijeet .

Working with Anand-Milind
Journey of Abijeet and Anand- Milind began from the film Baghi in which he gave remarkable perfomace.
Along with Shahrukh khan and Govinda, Abhijeet gave his voice to many big stars like Ajay Devgn, Hritik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan, Salman Khan, Sunil Shetty.
He also impressed some of the popular music directors as 90s duo of Bollywood such as Dilip – Sameer, Jatin – Lalit and more.
He had also worked as a Chorus singer for Legendary Ghazal singer Jagjit Singh and Rajesh Roshan.
Abhijeet Bhattacharya made a song to dedicate it to all the Legendary singers and Music Composers like JAGJIT SINGH who was an inspiration for him, because of which he felt motivated.
He wanted to make a song in a way to thank these legends who help him find the steps in Bollywood to reach at the top.

Recent appearance.
After a 5 years of self-imposed exile, in 2018 he came back with back to back chartbusters with Bengali Superstars. He sang Title track of “Bhaijaan Elo”
with Shakib Khan and Sujon Majhi Re from Hoichoi Unlimited with Dev. Also he sang for new age Music Composer Vishal Mishra who composed the song Aye Zindagi where the music video featured Siddhant Gupta.
Abhijeet also crooned Joy Durga Maa composed by Jeet Ganguli which is a duet with Shaan. The video featured former Indian Cricket Captain Sourav Ganguly and Tollywood Star Mimi, Nusrat and Shubhasree.
In May 2019, Abhijeet Released Chakde Fatte which is the Cricket World Cup Song for 2019. The song is well appreciated by listeners.

Which Was a Big Hit and still much popular to audience.
People were really impressed to hear his non Bollywood songs was really in love with his new albums.
With all his hard work and dedication which resulted in his stardom he was able to bag that he got MTV Music Asia Award for that Album. “Kabhin Yaadon Mein Aaon” is a Hit Song of all time from that album.
On 3 May 2006, he released another non-film album called Lamhe. In 2014, he released his album titled AB consist of Seven Songs, penned by Sameer. He also released Bengali pop albums and Tagore song albums.
Recently he recorded a new song with June Banerjee at T-Series Studio in September 2016.
That will be his Pop song collaboration with T-Series after a Decade.In 2018 he recorded a song named “Aye Zindagi” with new age Music Composer Vishal Mishra, The song released worldwide in 6 versions. Others are voiced by Sonu Nigam, Asha Bhosle, Shaan, Alka Yagnik, Suresh Wadhkar.
In 2019 Abhijeet came back with two melodious track “Cheers to Team India’ a motivational track for Team India on CWC 2019, and “Papa Bandook Dila Do’ in respect for Kargil War Martyrs.
Both the song Music Composed by himself. Abhijeet also released 10 Bengali Pop solo albums including Two Full Tagore songs albums named “Shei Bhalo Shei Bhalo”, “Oi Asontoler”. Latest are “Pranta Juraiya Gelo Re” (2013), “Chai Chai Tumi Ami” (2014).
In total Abhijeet Bhattacharya has sung nearly 6000 songs in his successful career.

In 2020 his first released song came for the Movie Shukranu, a 70’s feel like song “Khwaab hai ya haqeqaat” duet with Indian Idol fame Krishnakali Saha released from Zee Music Company.
